Torquay 0–1 Oxford City

Oxford City did what away sides dream of in the FA Cup: travel to Plainmoor, keep it tight, and win by the only goal of the afternoon. Torquay pushed for an equalizer that never arrived, and one strike was enough to send City through on a 0-1 scoreline. There's no famous name on this scoresheet, and nobody from today's lineups appears anywhere near the league's current charts, topped by M. Diarra with seven goals. This was decided by one moment, not a flurry of chances, the kind of cup tie where a single finish settles everything and the rest is defending. For Torquay, a home exit in the FA Cup is a tough one to shake off. For Oxford City, it's the giant-killer run continuing into the next round. Watch the highlights below to see the goal that knocked Torquay out and kept Oxford City's cup dream alive.
