Pedro needed just ten minutes in the second half to turn a comfortable Flamengo lead into a demolition job. The striker, third in the Serie A golden boot race with 21 goals, struck in the 56th and 66th minutes to make it 3-0 on the night and push his tally to 23. Flamengo had already done the hard work through J. Carrascal's opener in the 22nd minute and Luiz Araujo's effort eight minutes after the break, but it was Pedro who put the game to bed. Samuel Lino added a fourth in the 74th before Joao Victor grabbed a late consolation for Mirassol, a side that has now gone winless in all two of their Serie A meetings with Flamengo. The visitors, sitting second with 42 points and three wins in their last five, were never troubled. Pedro's second, a composed finish in the 66th minute with the crowd already celebrating, is the goal this highlights reel was built around.
