Nam Dinh 1–1 Phu Dong

Phu Dong looked ready to steal all three points in Nam Dinh when Nguyen Hoang Duc put the visitors ahead in the 57th minute, but Nam Dinh dragged themselves level sixteen minutes later through Tran Manh Quynh for a 1-1 draw. The result does little to disturb the V.League 1 table's shape: Phu Dong sit second with six points from two wins and arrive unbeaten, while Nam Dinh, fifth with three points, snap a mixed run with a point they can build on. It's a share of the spoils that also keeps history intact for the hosts, who had beaten Phu Dong the only other time these two sides met. Neither Nguyen Hoang Duc nor Tran Manh Quynh ranks among the league's top ten scorers this season, a list still topped by M. Makaric's twelve goals, but both found the net when it mattered most. Watch how Tran Manh Quynh's 73rd-minute strike pulled Nam Dinh back from the brink.
