Match Recap
Persija didn't need much, just one sharp move in the 13th minute. A. Abdulmanan struck early and the hosts made it stand up for a 1-0 win over Malut United in Liga 1. It's the kind of result that keeps momentum building: Persija sit fourth with six points from two games and back-to-back wins, while Malut United are stuck at fourteenth with a single point after a loss and a draw. The head-to-head tells the same story, Persija have won the only previous meeting between these two without a blemish. There's no title race narrative here yet, no league leader D. da Silva involved, but there is a young side finding a habit of winning tight, low-scoring games while an opponent searches for its first victory. One early finish decided it, and it's worth seeing exactly how Abdulmanan found the space to make it count. Watch the goal that separated these two sides.
