Wales U19 0–2 Norway U19

Norway U19 did to Wales U19 exactly what they did the last time these two sides met: win, and never let them back in. P. Holseter-Karlsen broke the deadlock in the 26th minute, slicing through a Wales defense that had no answer, and I. Gosik doubled it five minutes before halftime to put the game to bed. By the break it was already 0-2, and Wales spent the second half chasing a scoreline that had slipped away before they'd settled into the match. It's a familiar story for Wales against this opponent: their only previous head-to-head also ended in defeat, and this Friendlies clash followed much the same script from start to finish. Two clinical finishes inside 17 minutes did all the damage in a one-sided result Wales will want to forget quickly. Want to see exactly how Gosik made it 2-0 right before the break? Both goals are waiting in the highlights below.
