Xelajú 4–1 Mixco

Four goals, one dominant afternoon. Xelajú turned their Liga Nacional clash with Mixco into a statement performance, rolling to a 4-1 victory that was never in doubt after the opening exchanges. R. Marquez got the hosts rolling in the 25th minute, and once Y. Diaz added a second just three minutes into the second half, Mixco never looked like mounting a comeback. Y. Jaen (67') and O. Mejia (79') piled on to complete the rout, with J. Cruz pulling one back deep in stoppage time to make it 4-1 but spare no blushes. The result flips the head-to-head ledger in Xelajú's favor: the two sides had split their previous two meetings evenly, but there was nothing even about this one. None of the scorers crack the Liga Nacional top ten, with league leader N. Martinez sitting on 21 goals and the competition wide open. Marquez's opener set the tone — watch how it arrived.
