Vasteras SK FK 2–0 Malmo FF

Axel Sountonoma Taonsa needed only two moments to beat Malmo FF alone. He opened the scoring in the 14th minute, then added a second early in the second half, and those two strikes were enough for Vasteras SK FK to seal a clean 2-0 win in Allsvenskan. The result flips the formbook, too. Malmo sat fifth with 33 points off a WDWLW run, above eighth-placed Vasteras on 32 despite the hosts' patchier WLWDL, yet Taonsa's double left the visitors with nothing to show for their better league position. History already favored Vasteras: the only previous meeting between these two clubs also ended in a home win, and this one followed the same pattern from the first whistle. Malmo pushed for a way back but could never match Vasteras' cutting edge in front of goal. Two goals, one player, one afternoon Malmo will want to forget, catch both of Taonsa's strikes, the early opener and the second-half sealer, in the highlights below.
