Paykan 1–1 Shams Azar Qazvin

Paykan couldn't hold onto a point at home, settling for a 1-1 draw with Shams Azar Qazvin in the Persian Gulf Pro League after M. Sourgi put the visitors ahead in the 41st minute. Paykan hauled themselves level through A. Dehghan in the 76th, but the share of spoils leaves both sides stuck in the bottom half of the table, Paykan tenth on 8 points and Shams Azar Qazvin sixteenth on 5. It's familiar territory for these two: the last time they met, Paykan came away with nothing, and this stalemate does little to change that narrative. Neither E. Mahrooghi, the league's current top scorer with 9 goals, nor anyone else from the division's elite got on the scoresheet here, a reminder of how far both sides still have to climb. Dehghan's equalizer, arriving with just 14 minutes left on the clock, carried real weight for a Paykan side searching for answers. Watch exactly how he beat the Shams Azar Qazvin defense to snatch back a point his team badly needed.
