Independiente de La Chorrera 2–2 Plaza Amador

Plaza Amador thought they had done enough to take all three points from Independiente de La Chorrera, only for J. Sanchez to rescue a draw in the fifth minute of stoppage time, a gut-punch moment for the Liga Panameña de Fútbol leaders that snapped their two-game winning run. L. Tejada had twice put La Chorrera ahead, turning the tie around just before half-time after E. Rose opened the scoring for Plaza in the 40th minute, then doubling the advantage on 65. Sanchez, currently eighth in the league's scoring charts with seven goals, had other ideas, leveling at 2-2 deep into injury time to ensure Plaza's unbeaten run across their last five games survived intact. Independiente, who had won just once in their previous five outings, will feel the point was hard-earned against opponents they had failed to beat in any of their last three meetings. Sanchez's 90th-minute strike is worth every second of the watch.
