Akron 0–3 Krylia Sovetov

Krylia Sovetov never gave Akron a moment's peace, dismantling the winless hosts 3-0 in the Russian Premier League to make it two losses from two meetings between these clubs. N. Chernov opened the scoring inside the first quarter-hour, putting the visitors in control at the 19-minute mark, and Akron, still searching for a first win after five games, had no answer. The afternoon grew darker as D. Oroz added a second on 75 minutes, and V. Shitov rubbed it in deep into stoppage time at 90+2. For Krylia Sovetov it is a welcome three points after back-to-back losses had stalled an otherwise unbeaten start; for Akron, five rounds in and still on two points, the questions are only getting louder. Chernov's opener set the tone for everything that followed, and you will want to see exactly how cleanly he finished it.
