Tecnico Universitario 2–3 Guayaquil City FC

Guayaquil City FC were staring at an away defeat, trailing 2-0 to Tecnico Universitario with the hour approaching in Liga Pro. D. Armas had broken the deadlock just before half-time, and M. Castano extended the lead five minutes after the restart — but Guayaquil City had no intention of surrendering. Y. Rodriguez pulled one back on 64 minutes, M. Bolanos equalised on 69, and then, with nine minutes of normal time remaining, Bolanos struck again to complete one of the more dramatic turnarounds you will see in Ecuador's top flight this season. Guayaquil City now sit on 33 points, and for Tecnico — one win in their last five Liga Pro games, and now zero wins in two meetings with this opponent — the collapse stings. The only question left is whether Bolanos' 81st-minute winner, the goal that flipped a two-goal deficit into three points, looked as good as it sounds.
