Antigua GFC 2–0 Comunicaciones

Antigua GFC made it three wins from five against Comunicaciones in recent Liga Nacional history, grinding out a controlled 2-0 home victory built on goals from two of the division's most clinical forwards. W. Fajardo, sitting third in the Liga Nacional scoring charts with 12 goals on the season, broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute to settle the hosts and put Comunicaciones on the back foot. The visitors pressed for a way back in as the second half wore on, but A. Maziero, ninth among the league's top scorers with eight goals, put the result beyond doubt with five minutes to play. That is two players ranked inside the Liga Nacional's top ten for goals combining on the same afternoon to take apart one of Guatemalan football's biggest clubs. Maziero's 85th-minute finish, and exactly how Fajardo carved open the opener, are worth every second of the highlights.
