Match Recap
Rasmus Wikström put IF Elfsborg ahead just before the break, and Djurgardens IF's five-match Allsvenskan winning streak looked set to continue when Jacob Une Larsson leveled things in the 66th minute. The response came fast. Simon Olsson restored Elfsborg's lead ten minutes later and made it stand up for a 2-1 win. It's a result that fits a pattern between these two sides: Elfsborg also won the pair's only other recent meeting, a clean record against a Djurgardens IF team that had won every one of its last five league games walking in. Elfsborg move up to 34 points and fifth, seven behind second-placed Djurgardens IF, who despite the defeat stay firmly in the upper reaches of the table. Watch back Olsson's 76th-minute strike, the goal that ended Djurgardens IF's run and settled this one for good.
