Match Recap
Real Sociedad II fought Mallorca to the wire in this Segunda División clash, but it was Adrian Fuentes who settled it, poking home the only goal in the 81st minute to snap a stubborn deadlock. Fuentes already leads the division's scoring charts with four goals, and this one carried extra weight: it lifts Mallorca to third with 10 points from five games, backed by a form line of WDWLW, while Real Sociedad II slip to ninth on 8 points despite a decent WDDWL run. On paper the sides looked close, but Mallorca's late edge showed why they're the form team right now. For long stretches this looked destined for a stalemate between two sides trading spells of control, until Fuentes found the pocket of space that mattered most. There's no bigger storyline than the division's top scorer delivering exactly when his side needed it. Watch how Fuentes ghosts into the box for that 81st-minute winner in the highlights below.
