Fakirerpool 0–1 Mohammedan Dhaka

Mohammedan Dhaka didn't need to dominate, just to strike first, and M. J. Hasan Shanta's 18th-minute finish was enough to see off Fakirerpool in the Premier League. The away side carried their form into this one, riding a mixed WLWLW run and sitting fifth on 23 points, while Fakirerpool arrived bottom-ten on 10 points and mired in five straight losses, LLLLL showing no sign of breaking. Head to head, the two have split their last two meetings evenly, so Dhaka's win tips the recent series their way. Fakirerpool pushed for an equalizer that never came, and with Dorielton leading the league's scoring charts from outside this match, neither side's forwards made a dent on that list here. For a team desperate to arrest a losing streak, the response from Fakirerpool after Shanta's strike says plenty about where this season is heading. Watch how Shanta turns a half-chance into the only goal of the night, and see exactly how Fakirerpool's backline fell apart to let it happen.
