Match Recap
Villarreal led inside half an hour but couldn't hold on, and Real Betis stormed back to snatch a 2-1 win at La Ceramica. Gerard Moreno had the home crowd believing after his 29th-minute strike, but Cucho Hernández leveled things just ten minutes later before Natan Bernardo de Souza turned the game on its head four minutes after that, scoring twice in the space of fourteen minutes to complete the turnaround. The result tells the wider story too: Betis arrive in seventh with nine points and a WLWW run, while Villarreal sit second from bottom without a single win in four La Liga games. It's the first win for either side in this fixture in their last two meetings, breaking a stalemate that had produced just a draw and a loss between them. Two goals in fourteen second-half minutes turned a Villarreal lead into a Betis statement win, watch how Bernardo de Souza's double flipped the match right at your fingertips.
