America de Cali 1–2 Independiente Medellin

America de Cali led early but couldn't hold on, and Independiente Medellin snatched a comeback win that flips the table picture in Primera A. Luis Quiñones put the hosts ahead after just 7 minutes, only for Luis Escorcia to level things before the half-hour mark. The game stayed level until Carlos Alberto Lucumi Gonzalez struck in the 84th minute to complete the turnaround and send Medellin home with all three points. It's a result that bites harder given the form lines: America de Cali arrived fourth with 33 points off three wins in five, while Medellin sat 11th on 26 with just one win in their last five, making this exactly the kind of result that can shift momentum fast. Head-to-head, America had actually come out on top in their recent series against this opponent, so Medellin's late punch breaks that trend too. Escorcia's equalizer set the stage, but it's Lucumi Gonzalez's 84th-minute winner that decides it, catch the strike that turned this one on its head in the highlights below.
