Match Recap
E. Davis III needed just four minutes to get Loudoun United rolling, and by the time the USL Championship visitors were done, both he and C. Torres had doubled up, turning a routine road trip into a one-sided demolition of Sporting JAX. Davis III opened the scoring early and closed it out in the 73rd minute, sandwiching a Torres brace struck two minutes apart in the second half, as Loudoun United ran out 4-1 winners. Sporting JAX's only reply came from W. Kuzain in the 30th minute, a brief foothold before the visitors pulled away for good. The result is a strange one on paper: Loudoun United arrived with just one draw in five and no wins to show for it, yet left with all three points anyway. Davis III's double stretches his league-leading tally to six goals, and there's real proof of that quality on show, worth watching back goal by goal, especially that 73rd-minute finish that put the game to bed.
