Match Recap
Javon East put Jamaica in total control on the road, scoring twice to sink El Salvador in this CONCACAF Nations League clash. He broke the deadlock in the 39th minute, finishing clinically to send Jamaica into the break ahead, then struck again in the 64th to turn a narrow lead into a comfortable 2-0 cushion. El Salvador never found an answer to East's movement, and Jamaica's backline made sure the advantage held all the way to the final whistle. It's a result built entirely around one man's night. With T. Gale sitting atop the league's scoring charts on four goals, East's brace is a reminder of how quickly a striker can take over a match when the chances fall his way. Jamaica walk away with maximum points and a statement performance from their forward line. Want to see both goals that decided it? East's double is waiting in the highlights below.
