Cook Islands 1–3 Tahiti

Tahiti made light work of the Cook Islands on the road, closing out a 3-1 win in this Friendlies fixture without a single storyline twist needed to justify the gap in class. Three unanswered strikes told the story before the Cook Islands pulled one back, but by then the outcome was already settled. No player from either side sits among the league's current scoring elite, where M. Osmajić leads the way with five goals, so this one won't shake up that chase, though it still adds a tidy result to Tahiti's ledger against a Cook Islands side searching for answers. Friendlies like this rarely make headlines, but a 3-1 scoreline with goals at both ends promises more than a dull, one-sided script. There's rhythm here worth seeing: the sequence of Tahiti's three goals, and the Cook Islands response that came just late enough to matter.
