Match Recap
Two mid-table sides traded blows and settled for a share of the points as V-varen Nagasaki and Cerezo Osaka drew 1-1 in J1 League action. Matheus Jesus broke the deadlock for the hosts in the 34th minute, only for Lucas Fernandes to pull Cerezo level six minutes into the second half. The result does little to change either club's trajectory near the bottom half of the table, Cerezo edging Nagasaki 10 points to 7, though Nagasaki can point to their head-to-head edge, having won one of their last two meetings with this opponent. Neither side is riding much momentum right now, and a draw against a familiar rival won't flip the mood in either dressing room. But the finish still delivered: Jesus's opener and Fernandes's leveler both came from moments worth seeing again, not just reading about. Catch both V-varen Nagasaki and Cerezo Osaka's goals from this J1 League draw in the highlights below.
