Match Recap
Kawkab Marrakech left it late in Meknès, with Soufiane Essallami breaking the deadlock in the 83rd minute to sink CODM Meknès 1-0 in Botola Pro. It was the only moment of real quality in a tight, scrappy opener, and it flipped the head-to-head ledger too: CODM had won the pair's only previous meeting, so this result hands Kawkab the bragging rights this time around. The table tells its own story. CODM arrived with a win already banked and sit fourth, while Kawkab were rooted bottom-half at 12th without a point from their opener, making Essallami's strike a genuinely significant first result of the campaign for his side. Neither club's name appears near Botola Pro's scoring charts this early, with S. Benjdida still out front on 14, but on a night short of standout talent, Essallami's late finish is the only name that matters. CODM Meknès had chances to hold firm and didn't, Kawkab Marrakech kept pushing until the break came. Watch exactly how Essallami finds the net in the 83rd minute, the goal that turned a goalless stalemate into three points.
