Match Recap
Thijs Oosting scored twice in a seven-minute window as PEC Zwolle turned a shaky start into a demolition of GO Ahead Eagles, winning 4-1 after trailing to Stefán Ingi Sigurdarson's 22nd-minute opener. Sydney van Hooijdonk leveled things two minutes into the second half, then Oosting struck in the 58th and 70th before Koen Kostons added a fifth-minute flourish in the 89th to cap a five-goal afternoon. The result flips the script on paper: Zwolle sit bottom of the Eredivisie table with just 4 points from five games, while GO Ahead Eagles arrived in 9th with 11, and Zwolle had lost their only previous meeting between these two sides. None of that mattered once Oosting got going. For a side winless all season, this was as complete a response as it gets, four unanswered goals after going behind, and the kind of afternoon that demands a rewatch. Catch Oosting's double and Zwolle's second-half surge in the highlights below.
