Match Recap
Junior Fernandes needed just half an hour to settle this one, and his 30th-minute strike proved enough for Rudes to stop Dinamo Zagreb's form side in HNL. It was far from the formality the table suggested: Dinamo arrived second with 22 points and three wins in their last five, while Rudes sit ninth on 10, their own recent run a mixed WLWDL. None of that mattered once Fernandes found the net. The sides had met only once before, with Dinamo Zagreb coming out on top, so this flips that short history on its head for Rudes. D. Beljo remains the league's top scorer with 38 goals, but he wasn't the one deciding this afternoon in Zagreb's favor. Instead, it was Fernandes's single moment of composure that did the damage, the kind of goal that doesn't need a flurry of chances to matter. Watch how Fernandes gets free to finish in the 30th minute, the goal that ended Dinamo Zagreb's recent run against Rudes.
