Match Recap
Arda Kardzhali gave CSKA Sofia an early fright in the Bulgarian First League, Birsent Karagaren striking inside two minutes to silence the home crowd, but what followed was a comprehensive dismantling. Stefano Sensi pulled CSKA level just before the break, and the second half belonged entirely to the Sofia side: Leonardo Augusto dos Santos Pereira converted three minutes after the restart, Joel Zwarts made it three at the 53rd minute, and Ioannis Pittas added a fourth in the 72nd to complete a 4-1 victory. It keeps CSKA Sofia second in the First League table with 20 points, winning four of their last five, while Arda's own decent recent run — three wins in their previous five — counts for nothing on the night. Four goals in 31 second-half minutes, each one crisper than the last — the Zwarts finish in particular is worth every second of the wait.
