Dewa United 2–1 PSS Sleman

Dewa United needed almost an hour to break down PSS Sleman, then did it twice in nine minutes. Takuya Marukawa opened the scoring in the 49th minute, and Iury doubled the lead in the 58th, turning a tense afternoon into total control before PSS Sleman could respond. Correia Nduwarugira gave the visitors something to cheer in the 72nd minute, but it only trimmed the gap. The win keeps Dewa United's Liga 1 form reading WDW, good for third place on seven points after three games, while PSS Sleman stay winless and stuck in 16th after back-to-back losses. For a side that has now won two of its first three matches, this was another step in the right direction; for PSS Sleman, another reminder of how far they have to climb. Marukawa's opener and Iury's follow-up are both worth rewatching in full above, the two strikes that decided this one before Nduwarugira's late reply even landed.
