Match Recap
K. Cudars needed only one minute of first-half stoppage time to give Ogre United a lead they never gave up, slotting home right before the break to sink Super Nova 1-0 in Virsliga. It was the kind of moment Ogre United have gone without all season: with just one win from their opening five league games and a stumbling WLDLL run that leaves them 10th, this was a rare bright spot. Super Nova arrived sitting sixth on 35 points off a LLWWD stretch, and history favored them too, they'd beaten Ogre United twice in the last three meetings. Not this time. Cudars' strike stood up through the second half as Super Nova pressed for an equalizer that never came. For a home side starved of results, one swing of the boot in first-half stoppage time was enough to end a lopsided head-to-head and hand Virsliga's table a genuine surprise. Watch Cudars turn a half-chance into the goal that beat Super Nova, right at the stroke of halftime.
