Match Recap
Hugo Vetlesen turned a brief Antwerp equalizer into a distant memory, scoring twice to lead Club Brugge KV to a 3-1 victory over their rivals in the Jupiler Pro League. Vetlesen opened the scoring at Jan Breydel in the 13th minute, but Snayder Porozo leveled for Antwerp six minutes later to keep the visitors alive. That parity lasted only until the second half. Vetlesen struck again on 50 minutes to restore Brugge's advantage, and Jan Virgili Tenas put the result beyond doubt with a third in the 78th. The win extends a strong run for Club Brugge, who now sit on 15 points from five games, four of them wins, while Antwerp's difficult start to the season continues, a single win from five leaving them on seven points. It also settles a score of sorts, Brugge having lost the teams' most recent meeting before Sunday. Every goal in the highlights is worth watching, but it's Vetlesen's second, the one that broke Antwerp's spirit, that you'll want to see again.
