Ranchers Bees 0–0 Rivers United

Neither Ranchers Bees nor Rivers United could find a breakthrough as this NPFL clash finished goalless. It's the shape of a result Ranchers Bees have grown used to lately, sitting 15th on 6 points from five games with a stop-start LWLWL run that this stalemate does nothing to fix. Rivers United will feel the frustration more: they arrived third in the table on 10 points, riding a WDWW streak that had them scoring freely, only to be shut out on the road. Even V. Mbaoma's league-leading haul of 13 goals stayed a spectator's stat here, with nobody from either side breaking through to add their name to that conversation. Sometimes a nil-nil tells its own story of missed half-chances and last-ditch defending rather than a lack of effort, and this one had spells of both sides pressing for the opener that never came. Watch the highlights to see exactly how close Rivers United came to snapping the deadlock and keeping their form intact.
