Zenit 3–0 Dynamo

A. Sobolev made the contest over before halftime. The Russian Premier League's top scorer struck twice inside four minutes — 29th and 33rd — to leave Dynamo with nowhere to go, and Zenit barely needed a second half. Dynamo arrived at the Gazprom Arena having won just once in four league games, and it showed: the visitors never threatened to claw back into it against a Zenit side now winning three of four. M. Glushenkov, himself fifth in the scoring charts with seven goals, wrapped it up in the 87th minute to make the final scoreline a blunt 3-0. Zenit have now beaten Dynamo in every meeting on record in this competition, and with nine points from four games, they sit second in the table and gathering momentum. Sobolev has 11 Russian Premier League goals this season — hit play and watch the brace that made Dynamo look helpless.
