Match Recap
Harry Kane has 37 Bundesliga goals to his name this season, yet he left Gelsenkirchen with nothing to show for it. FC Schalke 04 held Bayern München scoreless at Veltins-Arena, shutting out the league's leading scorer completely and earning a 0-0 draw that felt far bigger than a single point. For Schalke, winless through their first two Bundesliga fixtures and sitting 14th with just one point before kick-off, keeping a Bayern attack quiet for ninety minutes is precisely the kind of performance that shifts a mood. Bayern, carrying four points from two games and showing the steadier early-season form, could not find the breakthrough despite their superior standing. No goals, no scorers, just a Schalke backline that refused to buckle against the division's most prolific striker. Watch the highlights to see exactly how they kept Kane quiet, because the defensive work that made this result possible is worth every second.
