Independiente Medellin 2–2 Millonarios

Independiente Medellin and Millonarios traded blows all afternoon and settled for a share of the spoils in a wild 2-2 draw in Primera A. Luis Escorcia put the visitors ahead in the 24th minute, and Leonardo Castro doubled his tally right before the break to make it a brace either side of Hayen Palacios' equalizer for Medellin. Nivaldo Yunior Erazo Hernandez leveled things again just after the restart, capping a four-goal opening hour that never let either side settle. It's a fair result on paper: both clubs sit level on 26 points, separated only by a single rank in the table, and their head-to-head history backs that parity up, this was already a draw the last time these two met. With Medellin's form reading DLWDL and Millonarios riding a slightly hotter DDWWD, neither team walked away with the statement win they needed. What they did produce was four goals worth rewatching, especially Castro's pre-halftime strike that flipped the momentum in stoppage time.
