Match Recap
Kocaelispor didn't need late drama, just two second-half strikes to see off Gazişehir Gaziantep at home. B. Kutlu broke the deadlock in the 56th minute, and D. Agyei doubled the lead 20 minutes later to seal a 2-0 Süper Lig win. It's a result that keeps Kocaelispor's early-season form on track: three wins from five have them sixth on nine points, just ahead of Gaziantep in seventh, who sit level on points but a game behind on wins after a stop-start DWLWD run. The two sides have only met once before, and that meeting also went Kocaelispor's way, so the home side's perfect head-to-head record against this opponent stays intact. Neither of Saturday's scorers troubles V. Osimhen at the top of the Süper Lig scoring charts, but Kutlu and Agyei didn't need pedigree, just two well-taken finishes to put Gaziantep away. Watch how Agyei's 76th-minute strike put the game to bed in the video highlights above.
