Municipal 3–0 Suchitepéquez

Municipal didn't just beat Suchitepéquez, they buried them inside the opening 20 minutes. J. Mendez broke the deadlock in the 13th, and R. Barrientos doubled it five minutes later, turning what should have been a contest into a rout. By full time it was 3-0, a one-sided demolition that never let Suchitepéquez settle into the game. Neither side has a scorer among Liga Nacional's top ten this season, with N. Martinez still setting the pace on 21 goals, but Municipal didn't need star power tonight, just a ruthless start and the composure to see it through. Games like this are decided before halftime, and this one was over almost as soon as it began. Suchitepéquez never found an answer, and Municipal cruised through the rest of the match with the game already in hand. Catch the two goals that shattered Suchitepéquez inside twenty minutes, Mendez and Barrientos both finding the net before the away side could even settle, in the highlights below.
