Match Recap
Luiz Antonio needed just five minutes into the second half to settle a scrappy V.League 1 clash, tapping home the only goal as Hồng Lĩnh Hà Tĩnh edged Bình Phước 1-0. Neither side arrives with anything to show yet this campaign, both sitting winless after their opening game, Hà Tĩnh a spot above their rivals in 12th and Bình Phước just below in 11th, so points were always going to matter more than style. It was Hà Tĩnh who found the moment that counted, with Luiz Antonio's 50th-minute strike the difference between two teams still searching for form. Lucao remains out in front of the league's scoring charts on 11 goals, a reminder of how far off that pace this match's lone scorer still sits, but for Hà Tĩnh it mattered far more to simply get on the board. A tight, low-scoring away trip for Bình Phước ended in nothing, while the hosts finally have a result to build on. Watch how Luiz Antonio ghosts in at the back post to break the deadlock in the highlights below.
