Match Recap
V-varen Nagasaki snatched a point in the final seconds, with Kenshin Yasuda equalizing in the 90+5th minute to end JEF United Chiba's bid for a home win. Thiago Santana had given JEF United Chiba an early lift, scoring in just the fifth minute, and for most of the J1 League contest that strike looked like it would be enough. But Chiba, sitting bottom of the table on four points from five games and carrying a shaky LDWLL run, couldn't hold the lead to the final whistle. Nagasaki, three points and three places better off in the standings despite a similarly patchy DWLDL form, pushed to the end and got rewarded when it mattered most. Neither side's leading man has cracked the league's scoring charts this season, with Léo Ceará's 36 goals still out of reach for everyone else, but Yasuda's late strike was worth more to Nagasaki than any tally on a leaderboard. Watch how Chiba's defense unravels in stoppage time and Yasuda finishes the chance that denied them all three points.
