Match Recap
Nassim Ait Mouhou did the damage twice as VVV Venlo turned a trip to Jong Utrecht into a statement win. The visitors were ahead inside 14 minutes when Ait Mouhou finished, and Tristan Schenkhuizen doubled it four minutes later to put Jong Utrecht on the back foot before they'd settled. Jamie Schuldes pulled one back just before halftime, but Ait Mouhou struck again early in the second half to restore the two-goal cushion and seal it at 1-3. The result fits the form guide: Venlo arrived fourth in the Eerste Divisie table on the back of four wins in five, while Jong Utrecht sit 15th and remain without a win in their last two. It also flips their sole previous meeting, which finished level. With Ait Mouhou now on a brace for the day, his second goal, the one that put the game to bed just after the break, is the moment worth rewinding to. Catch every strike, from his opener to his match-sealing follow-up, in the highlights below.
