Finland U19 1–2 Germany U19

Finland U19 led early, but Germany U19 refused to fold. B. Katz put the hosts ahead in the 22nd minute, and for two dozen minutes it looked like Finland would hold firm in this Friendlies fixture. Then N. Ringbeck took over. She pulled Germany level in first-half stoppage time, 43 minutes in, and came back to complete her brace on 57 to turn the game on its head. A goal down became a goal up in the space of 15 second-half minutes, and Germany U19 never let go of it. Finland U19's response never arrived, and the comeback held to the final whistle, 2-1. Neither side sits among the league's current scoring elite this season, but Ringbeck's afternoon was elite on its own terms: two goals, both of real consequence, both arriving when her side needed them most. Watch how she turns a losing scoreline into a winning one in barely a quarter of an hour, the second strike especially, right in the video highlights below.
