Match Recap
Domenico Berardi had the final say, and it was exactly the kind of answer Sassuolo needed. The Serie A side had lost both of their previous meetings with Torino, but Berardi's composed finish in the 78th minute turned this one around for good, giving the Neroverdi a 2-1 win at home. Cristian Volpato had broken the deadlock in the 32nd minute, only for Pietro Comuzzo to level for Torino deep into first-half stoppage time, threatening to send both sides in level at the break. Sassuolo had other ideas in the second half. The victory lifts them to three points from two Serie A games, while Torino remain pointless and winless through the same stretch, their second straight defeat leaving them with plenty to fix. Berardi's run and finish that put the hosts back in front, at the 78-minute mark, is worth every second of the replay.
