Match Recap
Atlante FC fought back from a goal down to earn a 1-1 draw against Atlas in Liga MX, leaving the home side frustrated after surrendering their early advantage. Luís André Leite Esteves had given Atlas the perfect start, striking in the seventh minute to put the Guadalajara club ahead, but Martín Sarrafiore leveled the score just three minutes into the second half to haul Atlante level. The result nudges Atlas down to fifth on 13 points after five games, their inconsistent form — two wins alongside two defeats and a draw — reflected perfectly by a lead that slipped through their fingers. For Atlante, sitting 14th with seven points, it was only their second positive result in five outings, a scrappy but valuable share of the spoils. Watch the replay to see how Sarrafiore's 48th-minute finish silenced the Atlas crowd and turned this one on its head.
