Match Recap
Barcelona didn't just beat Racing Santander, they buried them, and Raphael Dias Belloli made sure his name was on the scoresheet twice while doing it. The La Liga leaders, unbeaten and flying with five wins from five, tore into Racing from the eighth minute when João Cancelo opened the floodgates, and by the time Belloli struck for the second time in first-half stoppage time it was already 5-1. Asier Villalibre added his name too as Barcelona romped to a 7-2 demolition, nine goals in total against a Racing side languishing in tenth with just two wins all season. Maguette Gueye and Yassir Zabiri got consolation goals for the visitors, but this was one-sided from the opening whistle, the kind of scoreline that reads more like a training-ground drill than a top-flight fixture. With Kylian Mbappé still setting the pace atop the league's scoring charts elsewhere, Belloli's brace here was a reminder Barcelona have more than one man capable of hurting teams. Watch every one of those seven goals, including both of Belloli's finishes, in the highlights below.
