Match Recap
Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka each scored twice as England tore Croatia apart in a UEFA Nations League rout that was essentially over by halftime. Kane set the tone in the 8th minute, Jude Bellingham doubled the lead by the 21st, and before the break Anthony Gordon and Saka turned a contest into a procession, making it 4-0 at the interval. Kane added his second just after the restart, Saka struck again past the hour mark, and Morgan Rogers capped the demolition in the 87th minute for a 7-0 final score. It extends a lopsided history: Croatia's only previous meeting with England ended in defeat, and they still haven't taken anything off this opponent. Kane leads the Nations League scoring charts with four goals and just kept piling it on. Both sides sit level on points in the table, but nothing there hints at how one-sided this actually was. Watch Kane's early strike that started the rout, and Rogers' late finish that put the final bow on it.
