Groningen drew first blood through Willumsson in the ninth minute, but that early lead was the only moment of cheer for the visitors. PSV now sit on seven points from three Eredivisie games, with Groningen, despite arriving in Eindhoven on six points and two wins from their opening matches, leaving empty-handed. Perisic's composed 53rd-minute finish, the goal that truly ended the contest, is worth every second of the replay.
