Match Recap
Persib Bandung went a goal down inside six minutes yet turned a Liga 1 home game into a statement, rallying from K. Tanaka's early PSM Makassar opener to win 3-1 and make it four wins from their last five outings. Tanaka's sixth-minute strike briefly threatened to hand the league leaders a rare stumble, but the response was emphatic. P. Matricardi leveled in the 48th minute, and B. Sekulic made it 2-1 just three minutes later, two quick punches that knocked the wind out of PSM before they could reorganize. Uilliam put the result beyond doubt with a third in the 82nd minute, and Persib's 79 points now sit very far from PSM's 34. It is also the third straight time Persib have beaten PSM Makassar in a head-to-head meeting without conceding a single win to the visitors. The three-minute Matricardi-to-Sekulic double-strike is where this comeback snapped into place, and it is worth every second of the watch.
