Hoang Anh Gia Lai 1–3 Hai Phong

Marko Makaric turned this one on its head. Hai Phong trailed inside the first quarter-hour after G. B. Tran put Hoang Anh Gia Lai ahead in the 10th minute, but Ho Minh Di leveled by the 18th and Makaric took over from there, striking in the 49th and again deep into stoppage time to seal a 3-1 comeback win in V.League 1. Makaric's brace lifts him into the league's top ten scorers, level with 11 goals, second only to leader Lucao. The result flips the early table picture too: Hai Phong climb to 10th with three points from two games and a WL run, while Hoang Anh Gia Lai stay winless at the bottom, rank 14 with back-to-back losses. It's a reversal from their last meeting, a draw between the sides. For Hoang Anh Gia Lai, the early lead now looks like a false dawn; for Hai Phong, it's Makaric's night. Watch how he times that stoppage-time finish to complete the turnaround.
