Alianza FC 2–4 Plaza Amador

Twice Alianza FC pulled a goal back, and twice Plaza Amador found an answer. Six goals, two momentum swings, and the Liga Panameña de Fútbol's table leaders walked away with all three points. E. Rose opened it up on 14 minutes, E. Davis made it 2-0 at 40, and C. Rodriguez's reply at 43 was wiped out almost instantly when Y. Murillo struck in first-half stoppage time. B. Walters reduced it to 3-2 just after the break, but rather than sit deep and defend, Plaza went looking for more. Their top-ten scorer H. Rios, with seven league goals to his name, delivered at 66 minutes and settled the argument for good. Alianza have not beaten Plaza Amador in any of their four previous meetings, picking up just two draws from that run. Rios's 66th-minute finish is the moment that slammed the door shut, and it is well worth finding in the highlights.
