Match Recap
Ivan Sacko did the damage twice as Phoenix Rising ran riot on the road, putting Orange County SC away with a 3-1 win in USL Championship. The visitors never let this one breathe: Mar Boye opened the scoring inside ten minutes, and Sacko doubled it by the 19th, turning a nervy start into a laugher before the half-hour mark. He added his second just past the hour to put the game out of reach, and Orange County's late reply through Bazini in the 76th was never more than a consolation. The result flips the form book on its head, too, Phoenix arrived having lost three of their last five while Orange County had actually won more recently, yet it's the visitors who leave with all three points and climb above their hosts in the table. For a team sitting mid-table on 36 points, this is the kind of statement road win that changes a season's trajectory. Sacko's brace is the story here, a striker finding form at exactly the right time, and every one of his two goals is worth watching back to see how he kept finding the same gap in Orange County's defense twice in one night.
