Sporting San Miguelito 3–1 Union Cocle

Sporting San Miguelito opened the floodgates in a wild opening quarter-hour, with A. Bethancourt and L. Zuniga striking either side of W. Lashley's reply to turn a tense Liga Panameña de Fútbol clash into a 3-1 rout. The hosts needed it: just one win in five games coming in, they leapt on a side from Union Cocle sitting higher in the table on 23 points to five matches. It's familiar territory against this opponent too, Sporting San Miguelito have now won the only previous meeting between the two on record. Bethancourt's goal was more than just the opener, it was his latest step into the league's scoring elite, pushing him into the top ten with seven for the season as league leader R. Dinolis watches from well out in front on 16. Union Cocle never found a way back after Zuniga's 18th-minute strike settled things early. Watch Bethancourt and Lashley trade blows inside three frantic minutes, then see Zuniga's finish that put the game to bed before the half-hour mark.
