Union Cocle 1–2 Plaza Amador

K. Walters settled it in the 89th minute as Plaza Amador snatched a 2-1 win over Union Cocle in the Liga Panameña de Fútbol, denying the hosts a point they had all but earned. A. Valencia put the visitors ahead in the 34th, and Union Cocle looked set to salvage something when M. Diaz leveled it at 1-1 in the 70th. But Plaza Amador, unbeaten in five and sitting top of the table on 31 points, had the answer late through Walters, while Union Cocle slipped to fifth despite the response. The result also extends the visitors' dominance in this fixture, having beaten Union Cocle in their only previous meeting. It's the kind of finish that swings entirely on one moment, and this one belongs to Walters.
