Match Recap
Karpaty and Veres Rivne shared the points in a Premier League clash that swung on two sharp finishes. Fellipe Vieira put the hosts in front in the 24th minute, capping a spell where Karpaty's form (WLDWW) and third-place standing looked set to tell. Veres, down in 11th and battling a patchy WLDLL run, had other ideas, and A. Goncalves punished a lapse in the 82nd minute to snatch a point on the road. It continues a familiar pattern between these two: Karpaty have never lost to Veres Rivne in their last two meetings, winning one and drawing the other, and this result extends that unbeaten streak rather than breaking it. With M. Ponomarenko still running away at the top of the league's scoring charts, neither Vieira nor Goncalves threatened his tally, but both strikes were the kind that decide points on the day. Watch how Goncalves rifled home the leveler with eight minutes to go and turned a losing afternoon into a share of the spoils.
